Effect of different inputs on productivity of chickpea

A field experiment was carried out at Chandra Shekkar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India during three crop seasons (1997/98 to 1999/2000) to evaluate the contribution of different inputs used in chickpea production. The improved cultivar KWR-108 sown in rows 30 cm apart had a grain yield that was higher by 3.73 quintal/ha (24.58%) than that of the local cultivar sown by broadcast method.
