Effect of different insect growth regulators on Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) on cotton

Journal of Insect Science 12(1): 65-67

Field evaluation of five insect growth regulators (diflubenzuron, flufenoxuron, flucycloxurin, teflubenzuron, Hoe 075607) alone or in combination with quinalphos at 500 g a.i./ha indicated that flufenoxuron at 100 g a.i./ha, either alone or in combination with quinalphos, effectively controlled the cotton pest Helicoverpa armigera and contributed to higher yields. The next best treatments were flucycloxuron at 100 g and Hoe 075607 at 75 g.
