Effect of different insecticides and plant products on yield attributing characters of safflower (Carthamus tinctorius Linn.)

A field experiment was conducted during rabi 2000/01, at Raipur, Madhya Pradesh, India, to evaluate the effects of different insecticides (fenvalerate, endosulfan, dimethoate, chlorpyrifos, malathion and methyl-parathion and plant products (neem oil, neem cake powder and Neemazal) on the yield characteristics (plant height, number of primary and secondary branches, number of capsules, number of seeds per capsule, seed diameter, seed length, test weight and seed yield) of safflower JSF-1.
