Effect of different kharif crops on succeeding mustard crop

An experiment was conducted during the kharif season of 1991-92 in Madhya Pradesh, India to determine the effect of different grain and fodder crops on the succeeding mustard crop. The mustard could be grown successfully after both types of crops but yield of mustard increased more significantly after legume (fodder/grain) crops than after cereal fodder crops.
