Effect of different levels of cow dung on growth performance of major carps

The experiment was conducted in three earthen ponds in a fisheries research facility in Pakistan. The ponds were each stocked with Labeo rohita (n=20), Catla catla (n=15) and Cirrhinus mrigala (n=15). One pond was kept as control, whereas the other ponds were applied with manure (cow dung) at the rate of 0.1 g N/100 (treatment pond 1) and 0.15 g N /100 g (treatment pond 2) of wet fish body weight, daily.
