A field experiment was conducted to study the effects of different nitrogen rates (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 kg ha-1) and plant spacing (25, 30, 35, 40, and 45 cm) on the growth and yield of sweet pepper Yellow Wonder at the Agriculture Research Station (North), Mingora, Swat, Pakistan, during spring 2001. Plant height (41.60 cm), number of branches (9.13), and yield ha-1 (30.82 t) were recorded with the application of 150 kg N/ha. Maximum fruiting (18.20) was observed in 100 kg N ha-1.
