Effect of different levels of sulphur on yield and pungency of onion

An experiment on the effect of different levels of sulphur on yield and pungency of onion was carried out at Agricultural Research Station (North) Mingora Swat during the year 1999-2000. The local cultivar Swat-1 was grown on flat beds in RCB design with ten treatments in three replications, where plant to plant and row to row distance was kept 10 cm and 20 cm respectively. The results revealed that most of the parameters were significantly affected by different levels of sulphur.
