A field experiment was conducted in the experimental station of the Faculty of Agriculture (Saba Basha), Alexandria University at EL-Nozha, Egypt, during 1998 growing season of sunflower (Helianthus annuus). The objective of this work was to investigate the effect of different sources of organic manures on soil physical and chemical characteristics and growth and yield of sunflower crop. The experimental soil has a clayey texture.
