Effect of different nitrogen forms on growth, yield and fruit quality of tomato in culture media

In pot experiments, the influence of different nitrogen forms and their combination ratios (NO3-N or CO(NH2)2-N to NH4-N) on the physiological metabolism, growth and development, yield forming and fruit quality of tomato was studied. Plants supplied with nitrogen at the ratio of 50:50 showed normal photosynthetic rate, plant growth, root vigour and leaf water content. In autumn-winter experiments, the vegetative growth and total yield were promoted.
