Effect of different organic manures with graded levels of inorganic fertilizers on ratoon of Poovan banana

In a field experiment conducted during 1999-2000, in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India, the effect of different organic manures (all at 15 kg/plant) with levels of inorganic fertilizers (40, 60, 80, 100 and 120% of recommended dose of NPK) on ratoon of banana Poovan was investigated. The recommended dose of NPK was 200 : 50 : 400 g/plant. The performance of different organic manures in terms of yield was in the order of poultry manure = rice husk ash > pressmud > farmyard manure (FYM) > control.
