Effect of different plant growth substances on callus induction of Cratoneuron filicinum

Effect of different plant growth substances on callus induction of Cratoneuron filicinum

Plant Physiology Communications 39(1): 29-31

Explant segments of Cratoneuron filicinum (1 cm in length) were cultured on 8 media supplemented with different plant growth substances at 25 degrees C in the dark or 14 h of light (2000 Lx) + 10 h of darkness. The effects of 2 mg GA and 2 mg 2,4-D/litre on callus induction were remarkable. The callus induction rate under light conditions was higher than in the dark.
