A comparative study was carried out with four different seedbed preparation methods to determine the effect of different seedbed preparation methods on physical properties of silty-loam soil from Turkey. The methods were: (I) chisel+disc harrow+float; (II) mouldboard plough+disc harrow+float; (III) mouldboard plough+rotary cultivator+float; and (IV) chisel+rotary cultivator+float.
