Effect of different soil tillage and fertilisation level on soil cover of Ambrosia artemisiifolia L

Effect of different soil tillage and fertilisation level on soil cover of Ambrosia artemisiifolia L

Herbologia 4(1): 85-89

The effects of tillage (ploughing, subsoiling + discing, heavy duty cultivation, and direct tilling) and fertilizer application (80:60:80 and 160:120:120 kg NPK/ha) on the cover percentage of A. artemisiifolia were determined in a field experiment established in Hungary during 1999. Low NPK fertilizer rate was more favourable to the growth of A. artemisiifolia infesting winter wheat and maize.
