An experiment was conducted in Kashmir, India, during the kharif season of 1999 and 2000 to investigate the effects of sowing date (on 15 April, 25 April and 5 May), P (at 40, 60 and 80 kg P/ha) and S (at 20 and 40 kg/ha) on the productivity of sunflower Morden. Late sowing (25 April and 5 May) recorded better yield compared to early sowing, with concomitant increase in the yield attributes (such as plant height and 1000-seed weight).
