Effect of different spacing on vegetative growth of peach cultivars with drip irrigation

An experiment was conducted at Karnal, Haryana, India, in 1997-99 to evaluate the effect of spacing (2.00x0.55, 2.00x0.75, and 2.00x1.25 m) on the growth of peach cultivars Flordasun, Shan-e-Punjab, and Sharbati. Stem diameter, leaf area, and plant spread increased significantly with the increase in spacing in all cultivars while plant height increased with the decrease in spacing.
