Effect of different strategies of management of elephantgrass pasture on milk yield of crossbred Holstein x Zebu cows

The effect of different grazing management strategies on the milk production of cows, grazed on elephant grass, was studied. The treatments were: 30-day grazing interval (GI), with fertilizers being applied monthly (30MF); 30-day GI, with fertilizers being applied every 2 months (30BM); 45-day GI and a stubble height of 90-100 cm (45HS); and 45-day GI and a stubble height of 40-50 cm (45LS). In treatments 30 MF and 30BM, the stubble height was 90-100 cm.
