Effect of different types of herbicides on yield attributes of lentil (Lens culinaris Medik)

The effects of nitrofen 25 EC (1.50 kg a.i./ha), alachlor 50 EC (1.50 kg a.i./ha), Tribunil (0.75 kg a.i./ha), isoproturon (0.75 kg a.i./ha) and metoxuron (0.75 kg a.i./ha), applied at pre-emergence, on the yield and yield components of lentil K-75 were studied in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India during the rabi season of 1994/95. All the herbicides significantly improved the yield and yield components of lentil.
