Effect of different weeding strategies and their intensity on tomato crop

Effect of different weeding strategies and their intensity on tomato crop

Sarhad Journal of Agriculture 18(4): 367-369

An experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of different weeding strategies on the yield of tomato at Malakendher Horticultural farm, NWFP Agricultural University Peshawar, Pakistan, during spring 1999. Tomato was subjected to five different treatments i.e., no weeding throughout growing season, hoe weeding with 20 days interval, hand weeding with 20 days interval, hoe weeding with 30 days interval, hand weeding with 30 day interval till harvesting.
