Effect of dimilin (IGR), NC and NfC (neem extracts) on nucleic acid and protein contents of Callosobruchus analis (F.)

RNA, DNA and protein contents of Callosobruchus analis decreased after dimilin, NfC and NC treatment. The RNA contents decreased 61%, 63% and 56% after treatment with dimilin NC and NfC for 24 hours. DNA content decreased 52% and 51% respectively after Dimilin and NC treatment, whereas protein content decreased after dimilin (73%) NfC (51%) and NC treatment.
