Effect of dormancy breaking treatments of bulbs to enhance early emergence in tuberose

The effect of dormancy breaking treatments on days to emergence, rate of emergence and emergence percent, plant height and number of leaves per plant in tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa) Single was investigated. The treatments consisted of a control, gibberellic acid at 100 and 200 ppm, thiourea at 1000 and 2000 ppm, Ethrel at 250 and 500 ppm and KNO3 at 100 and 200 ppm, soaking in water and leaching in running water.
