Effect of doses and stages of application of fluazolate on weeds and wheat yield

An experiment was conducted in Pantnagar, Uttar Pradesh, India during the winter season of 1997-98 to study the effect of doses and stages of fluazolate application on weeds (Phalaris minor, Chenopodium album, Rumex acetosella, Melilotus alba, and Melilotus indica) and wheat (cv. UP 2338) yield. The treatments were fluazolate at 100, 125, 150, and 250 g/ha applied the next day after sowing and at 50, 75, 100, 125, and 200 g/ha at 20 days after sowing (1 day before irrigation).
