Effect of doses of nitrogen on the development of Turcicum leaf blight and yield of maize

Studies on the effect of 4 doses of nitrogen (0, 80, 160 and 240 kg/ha) on Turcicum (Helminthosporium turcicum disease incidence in 10 maize varieties (R2, Navjot, R7, Deccan 103, Deccan 105, Hi-starch, Ganga-11, EH 40144, Hemant and Rajendra Hybrid Makka-1) indicated that there was negative relation with the doses of nitrogen and the disease severity.
