The effects of drought and nitrogen fertilization on mycorrhizas associated with maize and Poaceae were investigated in field tests. A lower number of mycorrhizal spores were observed on the dry unfertilized maize plot, and hyphal length was greater on the dry fertilized plot. Fertilization was more important on the Poaceae plots. The number of spores was lower on the dry unfertilized plot and higher on the dry fertilized plot than on the control plot.
