Effect of drought at reproductive stage on physiological processes and productivity of some rice varieties

Effect of drought at reproductive stage on physiological processes and productivity of some rice varieties

Journal of Soils and Crops 12(1): 22-27

Studies were conducted to elucidate the role of photosynthetic stability and dry matter partitioning in yield stability of rice under reproductive stage drought in three varieties. Results revealed that reproductive stage drought affected the grain yield adversely. It was found that Kranti exhibited drought tolerance maintaining photosynthesis for a longer duration under drought conditions.
