The difficulties in adapting European breeds to Brazilian conditions are evident, directly affecting the dairy production sector. The climatic conditions are very aggressive because of the incidence of high environmental temperatures all year around, and the development of new technologies is important for the cows to show their genetic potential and a good feed conversion capacity.
