Effect of drying condition on shrinkage of small diameter Birch logs

Effect of drying condition on shrinkage of small diameter Birch logs

China Wood Industry 15(3): 12-13

Based on tests in different drying conditions, shrinkage regularities of small diameter Birch logs (Betula platyphylla and B. costata) were investigated to identify a theoretical basis in selecting and developing a drying schedule for small diameter Birch log.
