During 2000-02 at the Biochemistry-Technology Laboratory of the Lithuanian Institute of Horticulture, the effect of various drying methods on quality of aromatic plants (perennial, medicinal and spice herbs: lovage (Levisticum officinale), hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), balm (Melissa officinalis), oregano (Origanum vulgare) and sage (Salvia officinalis)) was investigated.
