Effect of dusting some plant products on quantitative and qualitative characters of mulberry silk

A study was conducted to determine the effect of dusting Lantana camara and Clerodendron inermae at 5 g/5 square feet bed area on two-day-old larvae of a pure Mysore breed of silkworm (Bombyx mori) with respect to its silk yield. Treatments comprised: 5% L. camara leaf powder, 5% C. inermae leaf powder, lime powder and a control.
