Effect of edible oil emulsion on post-harvest shelf-life of ber (Ziziphus mauritiana Lamk) cv. Umran

An experiment was conducted to determine the effect of 2% edible oil (groundnut, mustard, and til emulsion on the shelf life of ber Umran. The fruits treated with til oil, mustard oil and groundnut oil emulsion were packed in perforated polyethylene bags of 23x17.5 cm size and stored at room temperature ranging from 26.0 to 31.5 degrees C for 12 days.
