Effect of embryo treatment and different hormone concentration under dark culture on callus induction of Lolium perenne



Journal of Zhejiang Forestry Science and Technology 23(2): 16-19



A study was carried out to determine the effect of different concentrations of 2,4-D and benzyladenine (BA) embryo treatment under dark culture on callus induction of Lolium perenne with its seeds as explants. The results showed that cutting the embryos could improve the callus induction. Culture medium for embryo callus induction was MS + 2, 4-D at 5 mg/L.
