Interaction between four endomycorrhizal fungi (Glomus spp.) and the root-knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita was studied in aubergine (Solanum melongena). Mycorrhizal inoculation reduced root-knot nematode infestation. Mycorrhizal plants had higher total soluble protein, phenol, total and reducing sugars.
