Effect of endurance exercise training on free amino acid concentrations in skeletal muscles of rats

Effect of endurance exercise training on free amino acid concentrations in skeletal muscles of rats

Korean Journal of Nutrition 35(10): 1031-1037

The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the effect of endurance exercise training on skeletal muscle free amino acid concentrations, and differences in free amino acid concentrations between the soleus muscle (which consists of mostly slow twitch oxidative fibres) and the extensor digitorum longus muscle (which consists of fast twitch oxidative glycolytic fibres).
