Effect of enzyme supplementation on the graded replacement of fish meal in broiler diet

Effect of enzyme supplementation on the graded replacement of fish meal in broiler diet

Indian Journal of Poultry Science 36(2): 229-232

Broiler starter diet containing 14% fish meal was replaced with sesame cake protein at 50, 75, 87.5 and 100% levels with or without supplementation of enzymes. Synthetic lysine and methionine were incorporated at optimum levels. After six weeks, the highest liveweight gain and feed efficiency was observed in the groups receiving 50 and 75% sesame cake protein supplemented with enzymes.
