Semen ejaculates from Rambouillet rams were extended in EYLRCGG, EYLRCG and EYTG extenders at 1x109 spermatozoa/ml. These diluted samples were split and subjected to equilibration period of 2 and 4 h at 5 degrees C before freezing into pellets of 0.2 ml size. Thawing was done at 37, 50 and 60 degrees C in a dry test tube. The acrosomal morphology of spermatozoa was evaluated using Giemsa stain.
