A field experiment conducted in Assiut, Egypt evaluated the effects of farmyard manure (0, 15 and 30 m3/feddan) and superphosphate (0, 15.5 and 31 kg/feddan) on sesame Giza 32. The number of capsules per plant, seed yield, dry matter, and total N, P and Ca uptake by shoots increased with the increase in the level of farmyard manure and superphosphate applied.
