It is hypothesized that if non-starch polysaccharides are not reduced by enzyme supplementation, it promotes the growth of microflora and reduces broiler chick performance. Due to concerns raised regarding antibiotic use in poultry feeds, a study was conducted to test the effect of enzyme level, either in combination with 1 of 3 antibacterial agents used by the industry or without antibacterial agents, on broiler chick performance.
