Experiments were conducted during 1994/95, at Hisar, Haryana, India, to evaluate the effects of foliar nutrients on the yield and quality of guava L-49. K2SO4 (0.5, 1.0 and 1.5%), ZnSO4 (0.5, 0.75 and 1.0%), H3BO3 (0.3, 0.5 and 1.0%) and water (control) were sprayed on 15-year-old guava trees during winter season crops on 25 October and 15 days thereafter. All nutrients increased fruit weight and yield which was maximum (73.0 kg/tree) with 1.0% H3BO3.
