Two experiments were conducted with growing goats from 29 July-6 October 2001 and 25 March-11 June 2002. Dates include adaptation and digestibility studies periods. In experiment 1, twelve goats with mean pre-experimental body weight of 12.9+or-0.10 kg and 9-12-months-old were randomly divided into two groups and assigned to graze two paddocks of mixed pastures.
