Studies were conducted to investigate the effects of gibberellic acid (GA) at 50 and 100 ppm, Cycocel at 500 and 1000 ppm and NAA at 50 and 100 ppm on growth and flowering of gladiolus (G. grandiflorus Friendship). Foliar application of GA at 100 ppm at 45 days after corm planting resulted in the highest height (104.5 cm), number of leaves (8.5 per plant), spike length (98.3 cm), number of florets (16.7 per spike), size of second florets (10.8 cm) and number of spikes per plant (1.73).
