A field experiment was conducted in Karnataka, India, during the rabi season of 1997-98 to determine the effect of intercropping of chilli (Capsicum) with tomato, coriander (Coriandrum sativum), garlic, onion, carrot, cotton, soyabean, green gram, groundnut and stylosanthes (Stylosanthes) on the incidence of mites (Polyphagotarsonemus latus) and thrips (Scirtothrips dorsalis) on chilli.
