Effect of micronutrients on the growth and yield of pea in gangetic alluvial soil of West Bengal

Effect of micronutrients on the growth and yield of pea in gangetic alluvial soil of West Bengal

Environment and Ecology 21(1): 179-182

ISSN/ISBN: 0970-0420

An experiment was conducted to determine the effect of Zn and Mn at 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6%, and Fe, Mo and Cu at 0.1, 0.2 and 0.4% on the growth and yield of pea Arkel. The micronutrients were sprayed on the plants twice at 20-day intervals. Zn in the form of zinc sulfate at 0.2% positively affected most of the yield contributing characters and pod yield. Cu as copper sulfate and fe as ferrous sulfate were also effective on these crop characters.
