Effect of mineral (potassium sulphate) on the resting period of pollen of white-flowered Catharanthus roseus and a criticism on the hypothesis of Saoji and Chitaley (1972)

Flora and Fauna Jhansi 7(2): 105-106

The effects of different concentrations of potassium sulfate (0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.25 and 0.50 mg/ml) on pollen germination of the successive flower flowers (F series: open flowers and F-24 series: buds which require 24 h to open) of the white-flowered cultivar of C. roseus were determined.
