The survival of M. phaseolina (isolated from diseased roots of guar) in soil amended with Indian mustard oil cake (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 t/ha) and pod residue (1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and 6.0 t/ha) under shaded or unshaded conditions was investigated in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, from 1 to 15 June 1996. Irrigation was conducted once (1 June). Soil temperatures (5 cm depth) were recorded at 14 h. After 15 days, soil samples (0-5 cm) were collected for biochemical analysis.
