The effect of nitrogen fertilization on nutrient concentrations in rice J104 was investigated in slightly saline (4.3 dS/m) Hydromorphic soil (Typic Endoaqualf). Rice was given 136, 161 or 186 kg Nha as urea or ammonium sulfate. The concentrations of N, P, K, Ca, Mg and Na were determined for different plant organs and growth stages. Nutrient concentrations differed with organs and growth stage but not between N rates and sources.
