The effects of presowing seed treatment in gibberellic acid (GA), IAA, IBA, and NAA (10, 50, and 100 ppm) on the performance of onion Kalyanpur Red Round were studied in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India Seed germination significantly improved with 100 ppm GA and 10 ppm NAA application. Longer seedlings were obtained with 100 ppm IAA and 50 and 100 ppm IBA. All treatments except 100 ppm GA improved plant height. The greatest bulb diameter and yield were recorded for GA.
