The content of heavy metals in soils (leached chernozem) of Gorni Dabnik in the district of Pleven, Bulgaria, was determined after a long term (more than 25 years) fertilizing trial. The fertilizer treatments were: N0P0K0; N180P140K0; and N240P200K0. The long term fertilizer application trial did not have any effect on the total content in soil of the studied heavy metals and arsenic.
