A study was conducted to determine the effect of urea on the growth and sporulation of Macrophomina phaseolina and native isolates of Trichoderma harzianum and T. viride. Urea was lethal to T. viride and T. harzianum. The extent of inhibition over the control of mycelium and sporulation of T. viride and T. harzianum ranged from 4.30 to 100; 9.68 to 100; and 4.52 to 100; 9.76 to 100%, respectively.
