A total of 64 fattening pigs derived from F1 sows (Polish Landrace x Polish Large White) mated to crossbred boars (Duroc x Pietrain) were investigated to determine the effect of source of dietary protein on carcass traits, meat quality and composition of fatty acids in backfat.
