An experiment was conducted to study the growth, fruit quality, and yield of Oriental melon (Cucumis melo var. makuwa) by introducing 4 vining schemes, namely creeping cultivation, tunnel, line, and frame vining schemes. Creeping cultivation had higher temperatures at fruit setting position but lower light interception ratio.
