Effect of weed management and phosphorus levels on yield and quality of Indian mustard (Brassica juncea)

A field experiment was conducted during the 1998/99 and 1999/2000 winter seasons in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India to determine the effect of weed management and P rates on the yield and quality of Indian mustard (cv. Pusa Bold). The treatments comprised weed management practices (weedy control, hand weeding, 1.0 kg fluchloralin/ha, 0.75 kg pendimethalin/ha, 1.5 kg alachlor/ha and 0.125 kg oxyfluorfen/ha) and P fertilizer (0, 8.8, 17.6 and 26.4 kg/ha).
